I get very excited as debs season approaches. It is great fun to see young lads quietly approaching the shop, sometimes in groups, (safety in numbers), sometimes with a mum, ( always good to have someone on hand to pay for your purchase) and also on their own. (brave , confident lads who have completed their research online and know exactly what they want, practicality does not matter). The debs can be quite a stressful time for some. Suit/Dress hire, tickets, transport, flowers, the all important hair and makeup, second only to flowers. - Package Deals:It is also possible now to avail of package deals with most florists. This can include your corsage, chocolates and flowers for the Mum of your partner. - Collection: always try to collect your corsage as late as possible. These decorative creations will be out of water for a long evening, possibly till early morning, so it is best to let the florist make it as late as possible to keep your corsage fresh for the entire night. Your corsage should be ready in a presentation gift box. Keep it safely in the box, don’t be tempted to take it out for friends and family to examine. These are delicate items and should not be over handled. It should be carried carefully never shake the box and keep it upright. Store in cool conditions until required. Your florist should allow you to examine it in the shop to make sure you are happy with it. Then it should remain sealed until it is opened by the one who will wear it.
