Congratulations to designer Phil Hirst, whose garden A Stainless Century was awarded a Gold medal and voted Best in the Large Garden category. Best Small Garden is Sound Idea which encapsulates relaxation and meditation through thoughtful planting and design. Young Designer Tony Woods has reason to celebrate, winning RHS National Young Designer of the Year 2013 with Escape to the City.
Designers Leon Davis and Brendan Vaughan received a Gold medal and the top award for Gravitational Pull, the Best Galaxy Garden. Two special awards were also made: The National Schools’ Observatory garden was given the Most Creative Galaxy Garden award, and the Mypod Garden was the Most Creative Large Garden.
