Greenmount Horticulture students Colan McLaughlin (Rathfriland, Co. Down), Johnny Hall (Lisbellaw, Co. Fermanagh) and Tamsen Barrett (Newtownards, Co. Down), have been busy growing plants for their ‘Potager’ (ornamental kitchen garden). Their kitchen garden will be on display in the Garden Village at Balmoral Park on the Thursday of the Show. The students will be located in the garden village and will be using some of their horticultural knowledge and plant growing experience to give talks on containerised vegetable production to the public and to answer their general gardening queries.
