In the run up to Grandparents’ Day on Sunday 6th October we’ve turned to the world of celebrity to find the most talked about grandparents. From glamorous grannys to cool grandads, here’s our top five famous grandparents.
1 – Carole Middleton is arguably the most famous grandma in the world at the moment, and she’s certainly been hands on since her first grandchild Prince George was born. Kate, Will and George even went to stay at the Middletons’ Berkshire home shortly after the birth.
2 – Kris Jenner is grandma to this year’s most famous celeb baby;North West. She also has two other grandkids, Mason and Penelope.
3 – The Only Way is Essex’s Nanny Pat is proof you don’t stop needing your grandma when you reach adulthood and is always on hand to dole out advice to Jess and Mark. Plus she makes a mean sausage plait.
4 – Rock legend Mick Jagger may still be strutting his stuff with the Rolling Stones, but he’s also a grandad of four, and with seven kids of his own, he can probably expect a few more over the years.
5 – Harrison Ford has three grandchildren, Eliel, Giuliana and Ethan, all of whom are older than his adopted son Liam. It must be pretty cool having Han Solo and Indiana Jones as a grandad!
