International scarecrows
Have a walk around the School’s Scarecrow Competition in the Grow area. Infant and primary schools around the South-East have taken part to vie for first prize. The theme this year is ‘national costumes from around the world’ so take a look and vote for your favourite.
Perfect for pollinators
Get involved in a hive of activity. Create bumblebee hats to show off. Get a buzz from sowing pollinator-friendy flowers, decorating colourful pots to take home, and learning about productive bugs in the garden.
School’s Garvinea competition
An opportunity to vote again – pick your favourite Garvinea; all plants have been nurtured by UK schools and brought to the show.
Pollinators paradise
Head to the Escape Zone for more insect fun as colourful butterflies flutter around you in the Butterfly Dome and bees swarm in the Bumblearium. in the Pollinators Garden and Marquee you can get excellent advice and inspiration on providing food sources and habitats for our insect friends.
