The newly established Clare Garden Festival to be held on the last Sunday in April will feature expert garden speakers coming from all over Ireland and covering all areas of gardening. The theme this year fitting to the Gathering is ‘Going back to your roots!’ with exciting expert talks in heritage bulbs, root crops (including of course potatoes) but also trees, shrubs and flowers to be presented and discussed. All areas of gardening including ornamental garden design, vegetable production for beginners and advanced gardening techniques will be covered. Visitors can expect an impressive programme of expert talks, a great garden & artisan food fair with stallholders from all over Ireland and children’s entertainment at the easily accessible Ennis showgrounds just off the M18 in Ennis town.
