Did you know that bats aren’t blind, they don’t get stuck in your hair and they hunt using sonar? If you would like to find out more about these amazing little creatures then join the Native Woodland Trust on a guided bat walk at their Ardan Wood Nature reserve located in-between Kilbeggan and Tyrrellspass Co Westmeath. This guided walk will be taking place on Saturday 27th July at 21:10, meeting in Tyrrellspass.
This guided walk will be a great opportunity to learn loads about our native bats while seeing and hearing them in the wild. The meeting point for this event is the Tyrrellspass Castle carpark in Tyrrellspass Co Westmeath at 21:10. This event is open to all and all ages are welcome. It is free of charge for Native Woodland Trust members with a €4 suggested donation for non-members.
