I may well be the finest looking fellow to hit horticulture since Tom Jones was last seen mowing his lawn. But, even I and my slightly wooly head as pictured above can end up looking like we were dragged through a hedge backwards.
Far more important than my wry wit, the video was recorded and produced by gentleman and extremely talented moving picture maker Eoin Delaney of Directing Media. Eoin tells me of the video:
I had a project in my head and I wanted to capture that early bird, plant picking, potting bit of self-employed before you actually go to work for yourself. No I didn’t even call you. I just knew you’d be awake, in your garden. We started recording, asked you a few questions and you answered. You’re hair may well be a bit wooly. It’s supposed be at that hour of the morning. It is what a business looks like behind the scenes. That is what we wanted to capture and hopefully show.
