To celebrate the launch of our ‘Trees for Communities’ project being run in conjunction with Ikea we are running two walks in the Dublin area. The first of these will be in Tymon Park in Tallaght which contains a rich and diverse woodland landscape for a total of 125 different species. The park has a number of woodland trails, on the day we will be following the yellow route. Throughout the walk we will identify and learn a little bit about the different native trees present. This event is open to everyone and no previous tree knowledge is required. This is a great opportunity to get some light exercise and fresh air while appreciating the beautiful native trees right on your doorstep. This event is free to NWT members and Ikea Family members with a suggested donation of €4 for non-members. (It is free to become an Ikea Family member and can be done online or in store.
