Second class national school children visited the Botany and Zoology Departments in October 2012 to learn about biodiversity. They visited the botany lecture theatre and laboratories and the zoology museum, and got their hands on carnivorous plants, fossil trees, the world’s largest seeds, and animal skins and bones.
The visit was a great success, with the children, their teachers and parents all delighted with the experience.
