This is the last Talk and Tour of our popular Tastes of the Orchard season and will be specific to the later varieties. Traditionally the later varieties would have been best for storing, and some varieties would have been kept especially for Christmas Day, such as Ross Nonpareil, which is a beautiful red apple dating from 1786.
