Airfield’s Summer Camps are back and packed to the brim with exciting adventures! Each camp will be hands-on with the campers growing, cooking, eating, exploring, and investigating Airfield’s fields, farm and gardens.
This year, we have three great camps to choose from! The Airfield Experience, Artistic Airfield and Airfield Adventurers. Campers will spend their summer days either hunting for mini-beasts, exploring what summer means for the farm, discovering how to make their own notebooks, or exploring the vegetable gardens. All camps are active and will be an exciting weeks of getting their hands dirty, their boots muddy and encouraging their artistic side.

The Airfield Experience (5-8 year-olds)
Spending a day in each of the farm, food gardens, ornamental gardens, our nature spaces and a day focused on food, our campers will be immersed in all aspects of Airfield.
Working with our education team, the campers will create seasonal food, as well as learn and participate in what is happening on the farm and gardens that week. They will learn about the world around them and get hands-on in all areas.
Learning about how the animals are cared for, how the gardens are tended, how nature is hard at work and how we create food from the seasonal produce grown at Airfield.
Artistic Airfield (5-8 year-olds)
A team of professional artists will lead and guide our campers on an adventure through Airfield that will lead them to create their own artist’s studio. Using and interacting with all the areas of Airfield from the house to the farm and from the gardens to our nature spaces, the campers will be inspired and challenged to create their own tools with which to create art.
By the end of the camp, each camper will have made their very own notebook, paintbrush, paint and paper!
Airfield Adventurers (5-8 & 9-12 year-olds)
Exploring the undergrowth and nature areas of Airfield will mean that these campers will have to learn skills like fort building and foraging in order to create their own Woodland World.
This camp gets deep into Airfield and campers will learn how to interact and get hands-on with the forest environment as well as learn how to survive in the wilderness and work with nature to create shelter, food and fun!

All camps run from 0930 – 1430 Monday to Friday (except the 1st week of August which runs Tuesday to Friday)Pick up and drop off at the set-down area outside the ticket office.We ask parents to wait patiently as we check each child in and out to ensure their safety on site.Campers are to bring their own packed lunch with them which should not contain any nuts for health and safety reasonsPlease wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty and appropriate shoes (sandals are not the best for working on the farm!)Please bring wet weather gear as well as sun cream and a hat
