Sliabh Aughty Furnace Festival will take place at Mountshannon, Co. Clare on the 20th and 21st of September next. On Saturday, there’s a variety of attractions planned, including blacksmithing, sword fighting demonstrations and 17th century games, as well as high quality talks by local historians and academic speakers. On Sunday, we are guiding a tour of the most important monuments.
