Sanctuary Synthetics are delighted to have been awarded a Silver Medal, Concept Small Garden category at Bloom 2016 for their “Secret Life of Pets” garden.
“The partnership with The Secret Life of Pets was ideal for us as it allowed us the opportunity to showcase the versatility of our artificial grass and installations while also reflecting the fun movie theme. ” says Mark O’Loughlin, owner of Sanctuary Synthetics.
“Luckily we are experiencing good growth in our industry our sales are significantly up year on year and last year we supplied grass for over 800 private gardens. We know from a recent customer review that while maintenance is a key factor for most of our customers, many make the decision due to the demands of children and dogs and our fake grass means no mud, mess or wear and tear while extending the period of use across the 12 months of the year. This year’s garden is to show a small, suburban garden can be turned in Urban Magic by the flick of a switch”.
Bloom in The Park takes place in the Phoenix Park this June bank holiday from 2nd – 6th June 2016. Come along and see The Secret Life of Pets garden which will be in place for the entire weekend.
Sanctuary Synthetics, who have in the past also created interactive and award winning gardens at Bloom with the imaginative themes of Alice in Wonderland and the Wizard of Oz, are now embarking on their biggest investment project to date – the opening of Ireland’s first GRASSLAND showhouse. This interactive visitors centre in Naas will display various installations of artificial grasses while showing its versatility and uses in everyday homes and commercial situations.
About the Movie
The Secret Life of Pets starring Louis C.K., Eric Stonestreet and Kevin Hart, is a comedy about the lives our pets lead after we leave for work or school each day.
There are two important questions at Bloom this year; what hidden magic can be brought to your garden and just what do your pets get up to when you’re out for the day? This apparently ordinary suburban garden is home to Max; a pampered Terrior Mix and Gidget; the gutsy Pomeranian. Everything seems normal at first, but it all changes when the humans are gone! Once the owners’ backs are turned, the garden transforms. The lawn retracts to reveal a pool where the pets kick back, the garden shed becomes a groovy cabana with a disco ball, and Max’s kennel has a satellite dish. It’s party time for the pets, and Max, Snowball, Mel, Gidget and Tiberius can be found enjoying the life they have when we’re not looking. Look out for the fun characters hanging out all over the garden, but be quick, once the humans return, everything is back to normal!
