This year I was asked to host a series of events on the Sunday, called ‘Ask Gareth Sunday’. Where myself and compere Lee Gooch set about hosting mini demos all over the North West Garden Show.
Every hour we had demos and talks on the go, from Soil Health, Lawn Care, Creating Herb Planters, Growing Fruit, Gardening in Polytunnels and much more.
At different times I was joined by various helpers and experts, On the soil health workshops I was delighted to have an idol of mines alongside, John Reilly – organic growing pioneer from GreenHill Farm, John is someone who has been a continual inspiration to me for near-on 8 years now…a legend in humus circles ;-). I was also supported by Ronan McGrory (RMG Landscapes) and Seamus Gallagher.
Thanks to Letterkenny ToolHire, GB Garden Centre, Kees Garden Centre, Karen Murphy, Gillespie Polytunnels, Lee Gooch and Brian McDermott for help, support and assistance all day!
