Horkans are delighted to announce that the Blarney Group – who operate Meadows & Byrne, Blarney Woollen Mills and Farrell & Brown – will open a new 3,500 sq ft retail space at Horkans Lifestyle & Garden Centre in Turlough, Castlebar, Co Mayo, this August bank holiday weekend.
Meadows & Byrne and Blarney Woollen Mills will offer a wide selection of lifestyle products for the home and kitchen, as well as traditional gifts and household items. Farrell & Brown is a unique and dynamic fashion label aimed at younger shoppers, who are looking for quality, stylish and affordable clothing.
Horkans Lifestyle & Garden Centre already includes the five-star national award-winning Garden Centre, Edinburgh Woolen Mills, The Bay Leaf restaurant, and Petworld. The addition of Meadows & Byrne and the Blarney Group will enhance the overall shopping experience at Horkans and make it the ideal family day out for people in the west of Ireland.
This new development will also result in the creation of several new positions, with Meadows & Byrne now actively recruiting for a store manager, as well as several full and part-time staff through jobs.ie.

Horkans Lifestyle & Garden Centre is located in Turlough on the outskirts of Castlebar, and is open Monday to Saturday, 9.30am to 6pm and Sundays from 12pm to 6pm.
