Well known Irish Florist Jenny Murphy has done the double at the Chelsea Flower Show 2012 and taken the top prizes of a ‘Gold Medal’ along with the coveted title of ‘Florist of the Year’ 2012. She is the first Irish person to win the title. In the end she out designed stiff competition in a theme based around the ‘Queens Jubilee’. It may well have been that residing in the ‘Royal’ county of Meath helped her creative juices on the day. Jenny works with her mother in their popular florist shop in Dunshaughlin.
The winning creation consisted of a tiered red and purple floral arrangement and included roses, chrysanthemums, orchids and carnations. With an already loyal local and established celebrity clientele the Chelsea Gold will do much for the future success of the business. Congratulations Jenny.
