The lands surrounding the Glenview Hotel in Glen of the Downs, Co. Wicklow are home to some of Ireland’s most beautiful and rare native woodlands. There is a woodland walk which starts in the gardens of the hotel and takes you into the glen past babbling brooks and mature trees. We will follow this walk, stopping along the way to take in the beautiful scenery, and learn about native woodlands and the wildlife they contain. This event is free for members with a suggested donation of €4 for non-members. After this walk there will be an opportunity to find out more about the Native Woodland Trust over tea/coffee in the Glenview Hotel.
