Healthy People, Healthy Forests DescriptionThe Healthy People, Healthy Forests exhibition brings together information on a number of Coillte’s projects which are managing the environment in an innovative and sustainable way. It also showcases how the company is attracting people to nature with looped walks, nature trails and mountain bike trails and gives people a better understanding of the management of forests. The exhibition also features recreational amenities provided by Coillte’s forests.
Coillte has restored over 2,500 hectares of bog in recent years and 500 hectares of native woodland as part of its commitment to nature conservation and recreation. Come along and learn more.
