Coillte’s forests and forest parks are open, and will remain so, as the country moves into more relaxed restrictions in December and over the Christmas period. All visitors must adhere to HSE and Government guidelines, including two metre social distancing measures.
As we’ve all seen during COVID19, there are substantial mental health and wellbeing benefits in walking outdoors and exploring forests. Coillte has forests in every county in Ireland that can be enjoyed safely. There are over also over 260 recreational sites and over 3,000kms of walking trails, not to mention mountain bike trails and forest parks.
Stay safe, stay local and protect each other.
