This garden creates a scene in which visitors can get ready to sing and dance, laugh and love all over again in advance of Universal Picture’s release of MAMMA MIA! HERE WE GO AGAIN in cinemas across Ireland in July 2018.
Celebrating the film’s much-anticipated release, Tünde has created a Greek-style garden inspired by ABBA songs. Immersed in the world of film, the garden captures the exotic location of Kalokairi with its beautiful landscape and Greek architecture, including the famous Hotel Bella Donna. Using Greek architectural elements such as white stone walls, patios, blue painted wooden doors and windows alongside a bougainvillea and vine pergola with olive trees, figs, potted red geraniums and aromatic herbs, visitors are transported straight into the magical world of Mamma Mia.
Leaving Hungary and a career as an HR consultant behind, Tünde Szentesi moved to Ireland in 2006 to pursue her hobby – gardening – as a new career path. After a number of years working as a gardener, she applied to study garden and landscape design, earning a BTEC Higher Diploma in Landscape Design at SCD before studying for a degree in landscape architecture at the University of Gloucestershire, after which she established her garden and landscape business, TündeLandscapeS. Tünde’s creations combine practicality, beauty and harmony with innovative solutions, reflecting her artistic sensibility through the application of colour and form. She is a Bloom multi-award winner having won Silver Gilt and Silver Medals in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017, along with a ‘Best in Category’ in 2013. (View Profile)
