The Jack and Jill Children’s Foundation garden is a simple, graceful amalgamation of colours and textures. A stuffed peacock stands on a craggy pine log overseeing a small meadow of grasses and iris. Orange bamboos soar lightly behind to add height and movement.
Crisp German limestone elevates the planting which is enclosed by the backdrop wall of the Phoenix Park’s vegetable garden and a panel of lightly burned larch. A low ornate rusted iron screen with a peacock’s tail feather pattern part encloses the planting. The garden is lightly exotic and memorable in it’s simplicity.
