Records were added and distribution maps up-dated for 49 species.
1,088 new records were added to the National Invasive Species Database. There are now 40,953 records for 116 species assessed at risk of high or medium impact in the Data Centre’s Biodiversity Maps system. These records were submitted either through the Data Centre’s online submission form or directly to the Data Centre from Galway County Council, the Northern Ireland Environment Agency, the Kerry Knotweed Project, Alien Plants of Cork Survey, from research theses or additional sources of information.
