A temporary exhibition running in Airfield House from June 1st – 30th
Curated by Dr. Maeve O’Riordan in conjugation with Maynooth University and OPW.
The exhibition draws on Airfields rich archival material, illustrating how despite considerable challenges in relation to the status of women, unmarried women of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries led fulfilling, and globally-travelled, lives.
