Recently commissioned designer of the first Royal Botanic Gardens in Jordan, Hugo Bugg was named Young Designer of the Year by the RHS in 2010.
He has also won two Gold medals at prestigious RHS flowers shows including Hampton Court Palace Show in 2011 and Tatton Park in 2010, where he also won Best in Show. Still at the young age of 27, Hugo has just completed a Tanzanian tropical rainforest glasshouse within the new MUSE science museum, Trento, Italy, designed by leading architect Renzo Piano.
The prize
