Garden of Eden Project Ireland Offering 100% Funding in Clare and Donegal for 2014

Garden of Eden Projects Ireland has secured funding through the local agenda 21 funding programme for 2014 and is offering 100% funding for the price of fruit and nut trees for local community orchards in Clare and Donegal. The project is a social initiative of FH Wetland System Ltd., environmental consultants and designers of constructed wetlands, reed beds and zero discharge willow facilities. The Community Orchards initiative for this year has been funded by Clare and Donegal County Councils and the Department of the Environment.

Garden of Eden Projects would welcome submissions from local community groups who want to plant orchards in their green areas, schools or parks. Click here for details on how to set about organising a mini Garden of Eden in your own community.

If you are based outside Clare or Donegal you can still avail of Garden of Eden Project funding to the tune of 50%. This offer of match funding is limited by the available budget, so is available only while funding lasts.
