Join us on our Laragh woodland reserve for a berry-collecting volunteer day. The NWT believes that it is best to plant our reserves with trees that have been grown from seed sourced locally as they are best adapted to the local environment. On this volunteer day we will be gathering Rowan berries from trees located on the reserve which we will grow and then plant back on the reserve in the near future. As all our reserves are open to the public, in a few years you will be able to stroll through the reserve admiring the young trees that have sprung up from the berries you collected. This will be a fun event for all the family so come along and be part of something special.
