Hands-On Volunteer Day at Laragh Woodland Reserve

Native Woodland Trust

Native Woodland Trust

Join us for an important volunteering day at our Laragh Reserve in County Wicklow. On previous volunteering days we planted hundreds of native trees including Scots pine, Oak and Rowan. On this volunteering day we will be putting tree guards on some of the trees to protect them from grazing. We will also give these young trees a helping hand by controlling the grass that is growing around their base. Our Laragh reserve is located on a picturesque hillside above the village of Laragh. If you would like to spend the day in the beautiful Wicklow countryside while helping us to develop this future woodland then why not join us for this volunteering event.
