This year, we’re introducing four distinctive ‘zones’ to the show, each with its own special atmosphere and flavour. One of the zones, Inspire, pushes the boundaries of garden design with cutting-edge ideas and concepts. It’s all about innovation, aspiration and fresh ideas.
What will I find in Inspire?
The RHS is passionate about promoting horticultural careers and the RHS National Young Designer Gardens are at the heart of that ethos. The brief for 2013 is ‘Eco Innovations’ and our three talented designers will not disappoint with their forward thinking, bio-diverse gardens. Our three designers, each making their show garden debut, are:
- Tony Woods
- Florian Degroise
- Christopher James Szymkowicz

New for 2013, don’t miss the Galaxy Gardens, which take their inspiration from the wonders of the night sky. To complement the gardens, Jodrell Bank Discovery Centre will be exhibiting an interactive science feature exploring the links between physics, astronomy and the Galaxy Gardens. Come and enjoy the science busking!
