Clare Garden Festival 2013

Following the successful first festival as part of Clare Show, the 2013 festival is a stand-alone event to be held independently on 28th April 2013. The festival will be run in partnership with Co Clare Show committee at their premises of Ennis showgrounds. A new festival for gardeners and novices with talks and demos for all ages and skill levels. The Clare Garden Festival theme is ‘Going back to your roots!’.

The Clare Garden Festival will be offering talks and demonstrations provided by reputable national speakers from the Horticultural and Gardening World.

In 2013 Clare Garden Festival becomes independent and while keeping its educational character will also feature a large-scale Garden and Food Fair. Please contact Carmen if you would like to become a trader at Clare Garden Festival 2013.

Clare Garden Festival – Everybody Grows!

“Clare Garden Festival aims to embrace all the different types of gardening and growers with different abilities and backgrounds. In my experience with gardeners all over the West, there is huge interest in talks and demos by enthusiastic and experienced growers. Whether it is a talk about Flowers and Shrubs or Potatoes and Tomatoes or a visit to a garden or park – the light-hearted, down-to-earth atmosphere and there’s-no-such-thing-as-a-stupid-question attitude of gardeners as a whole are wonderful and infectious.” says Clare Garden Festival organiser, Carmen Cronin. “I have contacted some national gardening experts and have asked them to come and share their knowledge and provide high quality information to the people of Clare and beyond.”
