2nd Better Building Conference

This follows the success of the widely acclaimed, inaugural Better Building Conference in 2012, which attracted nearly 400 attendees to the Royal Hospital Kilmainham.

The Better Building Conference ties in with the Irish Presidency of the EU, and offers an enhanced European perspective. The change of venue allows us to accommodate more attendees, as the inaugural event was sold out well in advance. You can expect announcements of outstanding international speakers from the cutting edge of the industry over the next number of months. The programme can be found here.

A Permaculture Taster

One-day introductory workshop

Hosted by Davie Philip of Cultivate and Cloughjordan Ecovillage. Learn to live more sustainably. Using an active learning approach this workshop will give an introduction to permaculture design principles and outline how they can be applied to your own life and work.

This course is an ideal starter for anyone interested in a full permaculture design course.

 

Spring 2013 Permaculture Design Course

Ecological design for living and working – run over 3 weekends

9-10 March, 6-7 & 27-28 April 2013 | Cloughjordan Ecovillage, Co Tipperary

A FETAC L5 accredited Permaculture Design Course* that provides participants with a balanced combination of theory and outdoor practical place-based learning. This course emphasises both ecological and social permaculture covering topics such as perennial plants, agro-forestry, soil health and new ways of thinking about land management. A lively, participatory and thought-provoking experience is guaranteed.

*This course can be taken alone or when taken with Applied Permaculture Design, FETAC L5 can lead to a full UK Permaculture Design Certificate.
