This weeks' recipe is actually two different hummus recipes, these are great healthy snacks ideal in the lunchbox or accompanying a main meal. Also a great way to get some good stuff into kids without them realising it!

A Game Menu For Garden Show

For over a decade, Northern Ireland's premiere gardening event, Allianz Garden Show Ireland has been championing local food producers from all over the country. Recently, organisers revealed a game menu featuring lobster burgers and wild game as the Show teams up with Food NI for this year's event, which runs 8-10 May in Antrim Castle Gardens.

Feeding The Bee Hive With Bakers Fondant - Trevor Sargent

Another tip from expert beekeeper at the South Wexford Beekeepers Association last meeting, John Morgan. He warned that February is the month when the bee hive is at its most vulnerable. Stores of honey are depleted and the weather is too cold and flowers too scarce for gathering pollen. So if one has not fed one's bees already this winter gone, now is the time to do it.
