New Park on Cork St. Community Consultation Workshop

We’re Back in Bloom!

Wednesday, 6th May 2015: Bord Bia today launched its plans for Bloom 2015; a five day annual event packed full of gardening inspiration, gastronomic delights and good old fashioned family fun! Now in its 9th year, the Bord Bia festival has firmly established itself as one of the most anticipated social events of the year, not just for those with green fingers, but for all who enjoy a fantastic day out in the beautiful surroundings of the Phoenix Park in Dublin. Attracting a nationwide audience – with over 106,000 people attending last year – this year Ireland's largest garden, food and family festival will run from Thursday, 28th May until Monday, 1st June 2015.

Official Opening of the Carndonagh Town Park - Gareth Austin

The Barrack Hill Park in Carndonagh is a wonderful new community space, designed by multi award winning landscape designer Diarmuid Gavin. It's a great space for the students to be honing their practical skills whilst they work towards their FETAC Level 5 Major Award in Horticulture, ran through the Donegal ETB and delivered by National Learning Network.

RHSI Plant Sale Dublin

The Royal Horticultural Society of Ireland is holding its Annual Plant Sale. It will take place in its new premises, Laurelmere, Marlay Park, Rathfarnham, Dublin 14 on Saturday 9th May from 12 until 3pm. All are welcome. No entrance fee. This is an ideal opportunity to pick up something a bit different, well-grown plants from the gardens of experienced gardeners. Second-hand gardening books and magazines will also be for sale.
