Can you identify most trees by looking at their leaves? Would you like to take your tree knowledge a step forward and learn how to use other tree characteristics such as bud colour and bark texture as identification methods? If so then come along to beautiful Ardan Wood in Westmeath or the stunning Knocksink Wood in Enniskerry, Co. Wicklow in the New Year where we will be learning how to identify trees that have lost their leaves. These events are open to everyone and are free for members with a suggested donation of €4 for non-members.
