04 September 2013 17:00 - 19:00ITB College Blanchardstown, DublinWHAT WHY WHO HOW We offer practical hands-on opportunities to develop skills and we engage with the local community on real life practical projects, designed and built by students, to a budget. This allows students to get to know each other and their lecturers in a working environment and for skills to develop naturally as the course progresses. Work placement is an essential part of this course. And, as we’re sitting on circa 56 acres of land on the fringes of the fastest growing city in Europe, we’ve got an opportunity to develop that other courses simply do not have. ITB's state-of-the-art Horticulture facility : Work is well underway on our new state of the art Horticulture facility. This new facility will include glasshouses, poly-tunnels, workshops, welfare facilities as well as a range of outdoor practical work areas for fruit and vegetable production and sports turf management.
