Breffni McGeough is a landscape designer and contractor from Dublin. He has been designing and building gardens for a wide variety of clients over the last ten years in partnership with fellow landscaper Francis Doyle. He has won medals at bloom in 2011 and 2012. Concept Show Garden at Bloom 2015 - Brian Burke
Non Forsit is latin and translates literally as ’No Problem’. The youngest child in the family, Eddie was born with Spina Bifida. Spina Bifida is latin and translates literally as ‘Split Spine’. As a result of this condition Eddie uses a mobility aid when he is outside playing with his older brother and sister; Evan and Naima. (View profile)

Café Opens Near in Dublin’s Historic St. Patrick’s Park
Dublin City Council’s Parks Division recently announced the opening of new tearooms at St. Patrick’s Park, Dublin 8. The Council believes that the tearooms will be a popular addition to the park, which is located close to many of Dublin’s most popular tourist attractions – including St. Patrick’s and Christchurch Cathedrals, Dublinia, City Hall and Dublin Castle.

Concept Show Garden at Bloom 2015 - Ingrid Swan
Ingrid Swan has a degree in Landscape & Garden Design and has worked for professional garden design practices for over 12 years. Last year, Ingrid launched her own garden design business when she undertook her first garden at Bloom. She received a Gold Medal last year for The Garden of Sculptures in the Concept Garden Category.

BFEI Landscape Design Students To Celebrate Modern Living at Bloom 2015
Having won awards at every Bloom in the Park since its inception in 2007, landscape design students from Blackrock Further Education Institute (formerly Senior College Dun Laoghaire) are set to turn heads once again at Bloom 2015. With garden creations including, A View Askew, Furrows of Sustainabilty, The Labyrinth, The Clearing, Aspire, The Garden That Nobody Saw, ArGhairdinCuil and last year’s gold medal winning, Facing South, this year’s entry comes with an excellent pedigree.

The garden concept for ‘Our Origin is Green’ has developed from a Celtic knot design of two dogs found in the Book of Durrow. Celtic design has been a source of inspiration for designers and crafts people for many centuries. The application to Landscape has often been through a rustic style. The purpose of this garden is to demonstrate Celtic design through the use of modern Irish materials.

Hugh Ryan studied Architecture in Dublin in the early 70’s before progressing to Garden Design and establishing his own practice, Hugh Ryan Landscape Design in 1977 where he specialises in the design and construction of private gardens. Many of his designs have received recognition both at home and overseas and have been published extensively.

Concept Show Garden at Bloom 2015 - Yeat's Secret Garden in Sligo
This garden is purely imaginary. It exists only in the head of a poet: the private bolthole in his beloved Sligo that Yeats dreamed of while living in smoggy, grey London. Peeking in, we are voyeurs, seeing a clearing on a wooded island, with the lake lapping on the tree-lined shore beyond. Nothing is perfect – Yeasts hasn’t tried to tame or tidy his secret hideaway.
