The Gum Litter Taskforce (GLT) was out in force on the streets of Dublin this morning to launch its gum litter education campaign for 2016 which aims to reduce the amount of gum litter and change people’s behaviour towards littering.

Greenmount Florists’ Chelsea Success

Greenmount students Natalie Straney, Killyleagh, and Shannon Ormandy, Ballymena, have each won a Bronze Medal for their stunning design work at the RHS Chelsea Flower Show. They were competing in the Final of the RHS Young Chelsea Florist of the Year Competition and had been asked to create a carnival headdress for a male participant.

GOAL’s Damascus Courtyard – War and Peace symbolises some of the devastation visited upon the Syrian people, their identity, history and their culture over the past five years. No Need to Fear for the 'Lost Generation of Gardeners' in Northern Ireland

Concerns were expressed by the Royal Horticultural Society at the opening of this year’s Chelsea Flower Show that Britain has a ‘lost generation’ with no gardening skills. However, there need be no such concerns in Northern Ireland.
